Mount Whitney- The big one, in one day!

Mt. Whitney is the highest mountain in the contiguous United States with the elevation of 14,505 feet, totaling a 22 miles round trip. My friend and I were fortunate enough to receive a permit and it took us approximately 16 hours round trip to complete the journey in one day. All these photos were taken on my iPhone to save me from the weight of my DLSR camera and lens. This was an adventure on a lifetime!
